DeAnza / West Valley Youth Soccer League Recreational Playing League
The DeAnza / West Valley Rec Playing League is a CYSA District II fall league for CYSA Division 4 teams.
This is a "Play-Through" league which invites teams from surrounding leagues to participate when they don't have enough teams for their own in-house leagues.

Referee Procedures
Pre-Game
-
Teams on opposite sides of the field with their spectators unless the HOME league enforces a different rule.

SASC requires both teams on one side, spectators on the other.

Home team supplies CYSA game card and game balls.

Home team must change in the event of a color conflict.

Check players and coaches/managers against their CYSA passes. NO PASS, NO PLAY!

Check players' equipment.

Jewelry is not allowed. It is NOT OK to put tape over earrings or bracelets. Medical bracelets are allowed if made safe to the Referee's satisfaction.

Players wearing any dangerous equipment or device including orthopedic casts, air-splints, or metal splints, shall not be eligible to participate in any game, practice, tryout or training session. * Diagonal System of Control (DSC) only. The Dual-Referee system is not to be used on any USSF-affiliated match.
Post-Game
-
Return player passes to teams. Keep the passes of any sent-off players or team officials and submit them with your send-off report.

Referee enters game report into TheArbiter. Keep the game card until the end of the season in case it is requested.

Send-off reports must be submitted within 24 hours to Darrell Hogan, 4874 Bannock Circle, San Jose, CA 95130.
